How Our Sliding Scale Works

We use an equitable pricing borrowed from the social-justice sliding scales used by many community-supported agriculture (CSA) farmers, who allow members to buy a share based on their financial security.

This way we cover the community's expenses while you participate in a way that feels safe to you.

Members pay quarterly (every 3 months) or annually (12 months).

The first day of the quarter or year is the day you pay.

You can adjust your membership level, up or down, any time you renew.

A portion of every annual, paid-in-full membership is used to subsidize members who need additional financial support.

We also believe in paying it forward, so when you're ready you can offer to sponsor a new business..

(And if you're just stating out, you can request sponsorship for yourself.)

In case you're wondering...

When you join you'll be automatically subscribed to either quarterly or annual renewals. You'll be notified a few days before your next renewal period; you can make changes to your membership at that time.

All members have the same level of access to the community and its resources.

Your membership level is invisible to everyone except me. It's used only for billing purposes.
